Shape
钟的形制有两种，一种是带高的筒形纽，钟的下口两边突出如月牙形；另一种上端的纽是扁的，有的纽作伏兽形，钟下口是平的。

花纹
Decorative pattern
一般钟的花纹两边相同，每边大率有六排（每排三个）共十八个突出的乳。乳的形状有突出如柱的，有突出作螺旋形的。有“乳”的点缀，是钟区别于钲、饶、铎、铃等的特点。
